Introductions Are In Order

First off, I'm so glad you're here! You are so valuable and I am honored that you've taken some of your precious time to visit our little corner of the internet.

Welcome to The Whole Health Blog. This space is designed with you at the heart of it. Let me share what that looks like.

You are incredibly important and worthy of being well taken care of.

Unfortunately a lot of times we lack a true understanding or knowledge of how to take good care of ourselves that leads to greater mental function, less sickness, healthier relationships, a centered spirit and thriving physical wellness.

The words in this blog are penned to give you insights of holistic health with tangible takeaways, remind you of how amazing and valuable you are -in all your wholeness, and inspire action to bring greater health to your life.

Some topics you can be looking forward to reading in future installments include:

  • Understanding Nutrition Labels
  • How Exercise and Nutrition Work Together
  • Food as Medicine
  • The Power of Thankfulness and Intention When It Comes To Our Food
  • What to Understand About Organic
  • Better Options For Your Grocery List
  • Why I’m Not Anti-Sugar
  • Recommended Workout Clothes Brands and Why the Material of Your Clothes Matters,

Every blog post will include a section to explore a topic like the ones listed above, a recipe, and a takeaway (or two) to ponder over until our next connection.

My desire is to bring encouragement, empowerment, and awareness where so often the one narrative being shared in the health and wellness space is typically in a fear or shame based voice. You will develop a deeper, more loving, and healthier relationship with food, your health, and yourself through this blog.

Let’s stay curious and brave in this journey as we try out new habits and recipes or hear something that is different from what has previously been taught to us. The world of health and wellness is always evolving as we continue to discover new information and also relearn some lost truths.

Last thing I’d like to share is I'm bringing in guest writers that have words of wisdom and insight to share pertaining to holistic health and wellness. (And I am SO excited for who I already have lined-up!) The goal is touch on every aspect of health: physical, emotional, relational, spiritual, financial, and so on. It will look like sharing information on a topic or allowing us to hear a personal journey with health (a birth story, overcoming a hurt, habit or hang-up, an aliment healed and the like). If this sounds like something you or someone you know would be interested in collaborating on, please reach out!

Looking forward to growing better together!

Blessings,

Kels

P.S. If you'd like to learn more about me continue your scroll.

I am a lover of deep conversations, exploring new places, asking questions, and a slow pace of life. Wood burning fires, real Christmas trees, thrifting, and being out in nature bring deep joy to my soul. I strive to be nothing more or less than my authentic self, who I believe I was purposefully created to be. -Which means I am weird, quote The Grinch and Lord of the Rings often (probably will show up in my posts FYI), laugh loud, celebrate big, and care deeply. Intentionality is my love language.

I look to live my life "as unto the Lord" taken from the Bible passage Colossians 3:23-24 and in my true identity. Meaning that I treat others as if they were Jesus, I do my tasks as if they were for Jesus, I choose my words as if I were speaking to Jesus and to treat my body, mind, and spirit as if it was of Christ. My essence comes from my identity that can never be taken away from me. I am chosen, loved, an overcomer, forgiven, redeemed, set free, worthy, set apart, and complete in Christ (all this I believe you are as well if you choose it).

I am a homebody and an extroverted introvert. My dream is to be a mom and a full-on homesteader complete with a dairy cow, big garden, chickens, and bees. My hunky husband, Christopher, is my best friend and together we co-own Haddock Fitness where we help people simply fitness.

Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. I'd love to get to know you better! Drop a comment below introducing yourself and anything you'd like to share about the wonder that is you!
